Stopspammers and honeypot

Our site uses stopspammers and honeypot, this is for us and your protection as to spammers has lots of fun to spam forums, this is why our site is protected by two of these databases to see if you are a spammer.

How does it work: At first when registering the IP and email will be checked by those two if you are reported, if so then you will get an access denied or a failure to register.

however, since our site uses social login/register it can happen that a spammer joins up.

Now here goes the thing, if we detect a spammer we will have the right to report this to both databases this means that the IP and email and account name will be reported to them and it means that you can no longer log in and or register to other sites who are using the same setup. if you feel this is wrong please contact us. however, if the IP/email or account name hasn’t been reported by us then a different site has done this then go to them. if you aren’t sure you can check your email/ip/account at https://stopspammers.io/ and https://www.projecthoneypot.org
